Today in “things possible but never intended by their creators”, we have:

A Corvair with a V8.

The V8 mentioned above placed in a Corvair , and

A hood scoop which fits two round carburetors at a given spacing, but was never meant to face the back of the engine, which is now the front.

A guy I knew in college drove a Covair with a big V-8 in the front . He and his dad built it together. Every time I see a Corvair post, I think about that car.
